Sarah Rothwell is an Interior Design Assistant who works in-house with the Interior Design Team, completing a multitude of tasks including drawing assistance and product selection. Sarah first became interested in the Interior Design world as a child by playing around with computer games such as the Sims. After taking as many art classes as possible in High School, she strove to become an Interior Designer; however, in rural Michigan, it was considered a frivolous degree, so she instead started working towards a teaching degree. After moving to California, she decided to follow her passion and switched her major to Interior Design. With previous credits, she additionally decided to complete an associate’s degree in Social Behavioral Sciences. She then attended the Art Institute of California – San Diego and finished with a Bachelor’s of Science in Interior Design where she graduated with Honors. During her time at the Art Institute, Sarah served as both Vice President and President of the student chapter of International Interior Designers Association.
In her spare time, Sarah likes to spend time with her husband and her daughter. She also is a self-proclaimed crazy dog lady, with three very spoiled dogs. She is an avid reader and loves to cook and try new foods. She still enjoys playing The Sims whenever she has a chance, and she dances for the German American Societies Prinzengarde. Sarah’s most recent hobbies include gardening and landscaping her own home.
