Throughout the remodeling process, there’s only one call clients ever need to make if they have questions, concerns, or brainstorming ideas. From the programming stage through final inspection, John serves on the client’s behalf to make sure the collaborative design translates seamlessly into a finished product. As a Design Consultant, John is attentive to your wishes to help you turn your ideas, dreams, and wishes into a well-thought-out design and remodel.

John spent the early part of his career in the financial industry, but held an interest in architecture and construction from a young age. John graduated from Fairfield University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and from the Boston Architectural College with a Master’s Degree in Architecture. He is an active member of the American Institute of Architects, San Diego Chapter and has been contributing to the architectural/construction industry since 2003. John’s prides himself on the diversity of his career experience ranging from resort communities, institutional facilities, commercial projects, multi-family residential, and high-end residential projects.

Due to John’s passion for architecture, he is constantly researching new trends and products in residential design to further expand his knowledge base to evolve his expertise to suit each client. Sustainable design, or environmental design, is a popular project request, and clients are happy to learn that John hold a credential with the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) as a Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional. John also specializes in Universal Design, where careful thought and consideration goes into the planning phase of the project, resulting in an environment that is useable by everyone, regardless of age or physical ability. An increasing number of homeowners are opting to stay in their homes well into their retirement years, and John possesses the ability to come up with baseline designs that can be updated for efficiency and safety for years to come. John’s work ethic is client-focused, organized, and patient, enabling him the skills to troubleshoot, problem solve, and offer multiple solutions to meet the client’s goals.

In his free time John enjoys surfing, hiking, biking and being outdoors.
