Jennifer Angel Laursen is an in-house interior design assistant with keen attention to detail who assists the Interior Design Team by integrating the design team’s efforts into the building process. Her artist eye for color and form enables her to create beautiful drawings and stunning renderings. With over 10 years of customer service and a passion for art and design, Jennifer takes pride in her ability to draw inspiration from many sources and implement custom solutions for customer satisfaction.
Jennifer’s creativity and artistic ability became evident at a young age – when a street artist in her home town of Los Angeles proudly displayed her work with the caption, “Only five years old!” Influenced by her father’s introduction of construction sites and blueprints, Jennifer instantly became intrigued with the design process. After completing her portfolio in contemporary art during senior year of Venice high school Jennifer attended the Art Institute of California-San Diego and earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Interior Design. During her time at the Art Institute, Jennifer participated in the annual friendly design competition for Table for Tots and served as the treasurer of the student chapter of International Interior Designers Association.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys reading, painting abstract art and taking a stroll at Balboa Park with her husband and small dachshund puppy. She is a huge fan of playing board games with friends and family as well as baking new recipes and home brewing hard cider. Her latest hobbies include kayaking and photography.
