Project Description

This master bathroom remodel created a new, upscale retreat where a previous standard lay-out had been. The homeowner desired a space that was warm and inviting; an extension of her newly decorated master bedroom.

Remodeling Goals/Challenges
Challenges of this bathroom remodel included a stripped-down space that had been left unattended by a previous owner, a specific budget in which each of the homeowner’s goals could be met and cost could be kept within reason, creating a space that combined her desire for clean design with existing elements that could not be changed, such as flooring.

Design Solutions
These challenges were met by restructuring the existing space to allow for a new custom walk-in shower and dual zoned vanity. An affordable design was created by utilizing all quality materials and placing the expense in areas of greatest impact. Using custom cabinetry in rich cherry wood, a functional and creative new vanity space was produced. CaesarStone tops in Lagos Blue combined with rectangular Kohler sinks in cashmere create a sophisticated look. In the shower, simple 4” tiles in a variety of neutral tones combine with mosaic glass to add luminosity. The result is a master bathroom that is a reflection of the homeowners personal style and good taste.
